Kuala Besut Jetty is the main jetty to Pulau Perhentian (Perhentian Islands), is located 1 hour drive (62.9km) from Kota Bharu Airport (Kelantan) and 1 hour 45 minute drive (103km) from Kuala Trengganu Airport (Trengganu). You can also reach Kuala Besut Jetty by taking a bus to Kuala Besut bus station or Jerteh bus station and Tanah Merah train station.
For your convenience, upon booking, you may also book our Land Transfer from Kota Bharu Airport to Kuala Besut Jetty and Sea Transfer from Kuala Besut Jetty to our resort and back.
Please email us at, thebaratpp@gmail.com, your Flight Number and Estimate Arrival Time for our driver to prepare the pickup. Driver will hold a signage with your reservation name at the Kota Bharu Airport arrival hall exit point.

In the event you could not locate our driver, please wait at the Hotlink Phone counter right at the exit of the arrival hall. Note As land transfer is on sharing basis, there might be waiting time of less than 1 hour in the event there is any flight delay from other arrival guests. For Kuala Besut to Kota Bharu airport, our van depart at 9am, 1pm and 5pm which are in-line with the boat transfer from Island.

The nearest airport to Kuala Besut will be Kota Bharu Airport (KBR) , you can take a domestic flight from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2) or Subang Airport. The flight duration from Kuala Lumpur is approximately 60 minutes. Airlines for your choice will be Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia, FireFly and Malindo Air.
From Kota Bharu Airport (KBR), take a taxi (approximately RM80 per taxi) or book our land transfer service to Kuala Besut Jetty The journey is about 60 - 90 minutes ( Note : On Fridays may more than 1 hour journey due to muslim prayers day).
From Kuala Terengganu Airport , take a taxi for about 2 hours journey to Kuala Besut Jetty.

For a glimpse of the local countryside, take an express bus/coach service from Kuala Lumpur (Terminal Bersepadu Selatan : TBS bus station – 8 hours), Penang (6 hours), Singapore (10 hours), and Johor Bharu (9 hours) to Kuala Besut or Jerteh. Daily departures are available. From Jerteh, take a 15 minutes taxi ride to Kuala Besut Jetty.
Please check your departure/arrival times with the bus/coach company and plan your journey according to our boat schedule.
If you have time on your hands, take an overnight train with sleeping berths from Kuala Lumpur, Taman Negara (Pahang), Johor Bahru or Singapore to Kelantan. The recommended disembarkation point is Tanah Merah train station. From Tanah Merah, take a 45-minute taxi ride to Kuala Besut Jetty.
