Getting to Barat Perhentian
By air, land, and sea.Here’s your journey to the island
Barat Perhentian sits on Pulau Perhentian Besar, accessible only by boat. The journey takes planning but rewards with an island that still feels remote. Most guests fly to Kota Bharu or Kuala Terengganu, transfer by road to Kuala Besut Jetty, then take a speedboat to our resort.
Total travel time from airport: 2-3 hours depending on flight arrival and boat schedules.

Daily departure :
Low season ( Feb and Oct)
start 9am till 2pm
High Season ( Mar – Sep)
8am till 5pm
Advance booking is required, please report to Barat Jetty office 30mins before jetty close.
4:30pm for high season.
11:30am for low season.
