These Terms & Conditions govern the use of The Barat Perhentian website and apply to all guests who access this website or make enquiries and bookings with us. By using this website or proceeding with a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Reservations & Bookings

All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by The Barat Perhentian.

Bookings may be made via:

• WhatsApp or direct communication with our team, or

• An external booking platform linked from our website

Please note that when you proceed via an external booking link, you will be redirected to a third-party booking system, and the terms of that platform may also apply.

Payments

A deposit or full payment may be required to confirm a reservation.
Payment details and methods will be communicated at the time of booking confirmation.

All prices, inclusions, and packages are subject to change without prior notice until a booking is confirmed.

Cancellation Policy (Direct Bookings)

• More than 30 days before arrival
  → 95% refund of the reservation amount, refunded to the original payment method.

• 7 to 30 days before arrival
  → 70% transferable credit voucher based on the reservation amount.
  → Credit voucher is valid for 1 year from the date of issue.

• Within 7 days before arrival
  → Deposit will be forfeited, or
  → Management may assess the reason for cancellation and determine if any credit voucher may be issued.

For bookings made via online travel agents (OTAs) or third-party booking platforms, the cancellation policies of the respective platform will apply.

Check-In & Check-Out

• Check-in: From 2:00 PM

• Check-out: By 10:30 AM

Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and operational conditions.

Weather & Sea Conditions

As an island resort, activities, boat transfers, and snorkeling trips are subject to weather and sea conditions. The Barat Perhentian reserves the right to amend schedules, activities, or services for safety reasons without prior notice.

No refunds shall be provided for changes or cancellations due to adverse weather or sea conditions beyond our control.

Activities & Safety

Guests participate in resort activities, including snorkeling and water activities, at their own risk. Guests must follow all safety instructions provided by resort staff at all times.

Children must be supervised by adults during their stay and while participating in any activities.

Liability

The Barat Perhentian shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience suffered by guests during their stay, except where required by law.

The resort is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings.

Restricted Activities

Pets or animals are not allowed within the resort premises.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and materials, is the property of The Barat Perhentian unless otherwise stated. Unauthorised use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.
